3. Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

Indian Nationals, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), and Foreign Nationals are eligible.

Academic Qualification

Must have passed Class 12 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology as core subjects.
English is mandatory as a subject.
Minimum aggregate score: 50% (General/EWS), 45% (General PH), 40% (SC/ST/OBC/OBC-NCL).

Age Limit

Minimum age: 17 years as on 31 December of the year of admission.
There is currently no upper age limit as per the latest NTA notification.

Number of Attempts

There is no restriction on the number of attempts as per the current rules.

4. Application Form 2026

The NEET 2026 application form was available online at neet.nta.nic.in from 08 February to 11 March 2026. The process is entirely online.

Visit the official NTA NEET website and click on "New Registration".
Complete the registration using your mobile number and email address. Note the Application Number.
Fill in your personal, academic, and contact details accurately.
Upload scanned documents: recent passport-size photograph, signature, Class 10 mark sheet, and PwD certificate (if applicable).
Select your preferred exam cities (up to 4 cities in priority order).
Pay the application fee via Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI, or Paytm.
Submit the form and download or print the confirmation page.

7. Admit Card, Answer Key & Result

Admit Card

Go to neet.nta.nic.in and click on the admit card download link.
Enter your Application Number and Date of Birth.
Verify all details carefully before downloading.
Print at least 2 copies of the admit card.

Answer Key

Log in to the NTA NEET portal using your credentials.
Review the provisional answer key and compare it with your recorded responses.
If you find an incorrect answer, raise a challenge within the allowed window by paying ₹200 per question challenged.
NTA reviews valid challenges with subject experts and publishes the final answer key after resolution.

Result

NTA is expected to declare the NEET UG 2026 result in June 2026. The scorecard will include subject-wise marks, percentile, and All India Rank (AIR).
